In search of Angular Solomon's Seal & Lily Of The Valley.

(Top photo is: Angular Solomon's Seal, 2nd is Lily Of The Valley, and 3rd and 4th is a Fern which was pretty common within the grykes of the pavement.

From about 1600hrs until about 1900hours, I decided to survey a couple of the limestone pavement areas within Dalton Crags for both Angular Solomon's Seal and also Lily Of The Valley.

Found nine areas supporting Angular of which a couple were quite extensive, and two areas supporting Lily Of The Valley. In fact its the best ever area I have found for the Lily of the Valley and extends over a 50ft diameter area, with literally hundreds still in fresh flower.

Also found a couple of specimens of Common Meadow Rue.
