Sandside’s Sandleek stands so tall,
Same as last year four to call,
Purply, bulbous, plant so rare,
Must receive the utmost care.

Down the road is Field Garlic,
Near a place which is idyllic,
Over a thousand heads will show,
Through the mixed hedgerow
In bonny Silver – Dale.
