Snippets of Wealth (Bank Hol Monday 6th May 2019) Green Winged Orchids/Horseshoe Vetch/Salad Burnet

2015hrs up to 4 Swifts, 10 House Martins and 1 Swallow. Swifts seen at varying points between Manor House and Memorial Hall. 
0800hrs 3 Swifts seen between Royal and Memorial Hall

Mon 6th May 2019 The Lots, Silverdale

Could not resist checking out the Anacamptis morio (Green Winged Orchids) at the Lots, Silverdale yet again. Although today I had plenty of time, the wind was playing havoc, but we did manage to sneak a few photos of some of the special variants etc.  Also I carried on down to the cove to get some more detailed photos of the Hippocrepis comosa (Horseshoe vetch)

Also found yet another couple of white Orchis mascula (Early Purple Orchids) bringing up the total number to 7 EPO albino plants on The Lots

Below are some photos showing the rare Horseshoe Vetch which I have taken near to the Silverdale Cove on 6th May 2019. I have tried to get some photos of the leaflets and some of the photos shows the flowers still in closed bud.
