Near to the end with the atrorubens (orchids), but will start with the helleborines over the weekend.... Most (90%) of the atrorubens are going over, but a few still in good order...
The first photo and some further down show the rare 'Pallens' variety which I was so lucky to find only yesterday. It now brings the number up to 11 recorded on Hutton Roof, with 9 active this year. This is a little beauty.
Birds today: Buzzards (young), Chiffchaffs
Butterflies: Small Tortoiseshells, Ringlets and Meadow Browns.
