I would say that this is something really special!
I noticed it a few years ago and it's called a Rinnentier and it's on the East side of Hutton Roof. At the bottom of its slope I have found Early Purple Orchids, and when I say early they have been in full bloom by the end of the first week in April. That's why I was there a few days ago (Thursday 15th April), but I am afraid no Orchids it been far too cold. But it is always fantastic to check out the very special geographical fault and I believe is famous throughout the world, and yes that's special.
Here are a few photos of it for your enjoyment.
