Monday 5th September 2011.
Shore Road/Hunting Hill, Carnforth, Lancs.
1000hrs to 1100hrs.
Wind: NW 15mph with heavy continual rain showers.
All Movement South unless stated.
Again owing to other committments could only manage late watch. Yet continual heavy rain did not help. There have been lots going through in between showers, probably for most of the day, (Just seen lots more going South over Westmorland Hospital, Kendal (1400-1500hrs))
Swallow: 110 (best parties 17,11)
House Martin: 10
Meadow Pipit: 10
Alba Wagtail: 17
Skylark: 2
Linnet: 3
Chaffinch: 1
Goldfinch: 8 (one party).
Perhaps no longer such a great sighting, but still a great sight!
