Wind: Westerley 25mph with gust to 35mph
Weather: Fine after prolonged heavy rain showers, lots of local flooding.
On leaving, cloud was broken and lots of blue sky showing from West to East.
Just a trickle on the move South unless stated.
Swallow: 30 (best party 8,6,5)
Linnet: 1
Alba Wagtail: 5
Meadow Pipit: 1
Common Snipe: 3 W
Greenfinch: 2 W
Chaffinch: 1
Also: Cormorant (local) 2, Little Egret (local) 1, Curlews, Lapwings, Starlings and Greylags (all presumed local)
Perhaps no longer such a great sighting, but still a great sight!
